Emma: "Mommy, Griffin's mud fell off his belly button!!!" (She was referring to his umbilical chord- hilarious!)
Me: "Emma, we do NOT just go pee pee in the grass. That is not lady like."
Ellie: "Mommy, since I'm the biggest sister of them all, I GET to make the rules now, right?"
Me: "Ellie, do you remember if Mommy ate breakfast this morning?"
Ryan: "Alright George (*Griffin*), you and me are gonna get away from this drama here before you know it. Just hang in there."
Ellie: "Mommy, we need to OR-GA-FIZE (organize) this house. What do you want to orgafize first- the drawer or the closet?"
On a different note...
We sold our house!!!!
Our house has been on the market since Halloween (for sale by owner) and we have been patient and rather unmotivated sellers. Knowing a baby was coming made us excited to see if the charming and most loved house of ours would sell, but we weren't stressed or in a hurry whatsoever. Needless to say, the week we actually talked about listing our house, it sold just days before we changed the sign in our yard. Praise God! Of course the economy has stolen a lot of value from homes in Toledo (and everywhere for that matter) but we are thrilled, blessed, and beyond pumped at the price we got and the story that goes with it. Praise the good Lord; the man who is buying our house said we could stay until the end of October (we'll close on it the end of August though) and just rent from him for that last month. That way we have plenty of time to pack and find our new home. Thank you sweet Jesus! Your timing is so good.
So to add to the chaos of trying to learn how to be parents of 3, Ryan and I have a lot of "STUFF" on our plates right now. Not to mention his two jobs. Wow. But I feel calm, rested, and totally at peace with where God has us and is taking us. In fact when my friend Erin was over the other day, she asked if she could pray for me. As she was praying she said that she just saw God CARRYING ME. Yes that's hard for someone else to understand, who may not know how wonderfully accurate and personal that was for me. But I totally feel that from God right now. I am so confident in His intervention, His grace, His timing, His strength. And I feel renewed daily by Him.
Bring it on Lord. I trust you!
I tell my sweet Ellie almost daily how much we need Jesus. And I remind her that it is JESUS that makes us good...we are just not so great without Him. I can't tell her those things if I don't believe them myself.
Right?

Congrats on the sale! God is perfect, huh? In everything. I love that the sale of your home is almost as Divine as its purchase 5 years ago! Love it.
Also love the comments by everybody and know of our prayers as you switch from man-to-man to zone defense with the kiddos. It is NOT easy, so I'm glad to hear you're being carried and experiencing a whole measure of His Grace. Awesome. Love you.
