The Boys!

Ice Cream dates continue. Especially with these two.  Sometimes they need to just be outside and not just in our backyard or with the neighbor buds. Sometimes they need to come together and enjoy a moment. Grady got hurt tonight and tried to make Grady feel better by smearing ice cream all over his own face. I guess that's what brothers do. Man I wish they did that more.

Pajama day at school. Ha! Griff brings the fun.

Little Mouse preschool. Grady is 4 and strong and yet struggling to figure out how to respect and listen but also how to do that when he's not understood and doesn't know how to vocalize. SO SO SO proud of this kid.

Wilkerson and Snow time. THE BEST

There are not many 36 hour periods that are as cool as this. My friend Beth, from 7th grade...who has walked through life with me and now, my family and kids...brought her 5 kids and crashed the Snow pad this weekend. It was pretty hilarious and really REAL and truly unique. I love our families.

Stella rocked at doing Ellie and Emma's hair!

Our two precious Ethiopians!
Grady and Moriah.

The girls...at like 11 PM. ha!

There is not much more exciting than the FIRST meal of the season that can be eaten outdoors! Woot Woot! April 27...it's about time!!! Thankful for green grass, a deck that I just powder washed, and a clean table/dinner outside. WOW the sunshine and warmth makes a massive difference.

Griffin continues to work hard at Karate. There is so much to remember and focus on and think about. The workouts and the training are beginning to get harder now that he's in the advanced class...and he has a longer road ahead of him before his black belt, than we originally thought. But he's plugging away and makes us proud to watch and cheer on.

Emma and Iz. :)

Sometimes random family pictures are the best.

Spring is Spring-ing

Well we rolled in from Florida to some sunshine for EASTER morning. A little chillier than the beach, but look at the smiles on these kids. It's amazing that hiding a small little Easter basket will bring squeals and excitement. Makes me happy that the fun little things are still things that bring happiness. Even to the parents!

I just love color. Lots of it. And so setting the table for dinner tonight made me happy. Nothing like crockpots and bright plates!

Seasonal cookie is back and movie...LEMON BLUEBERRY SURPRISE here we go again!

McCord track meets...oh yeah!!!  Ellie ran the 1/2 mile at most meets, and didn't love it, but she worked hard and improved each time. Proud of her endurance and persistence to always get better at something.

First ice cream visit of the season! Perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon in April. Mayberry Ice Cream, the Snow family loves you!

I'm so thankful for all of the random projects that Julie and I do together. We have fun together. :) Today (April 15) Julie and I painted our outside garage door Yellow! It's been on my to-do list for waaaaay too long. BOOM!

Sheet pans are my new favorite thing to make for dinner...it's fast and easy and can be so healthy! Excited for fresh veggies and outdoor eating as we plow into the warmer months.

Last Few days in Florida!!

Pictures tell a thousand stories. But I will have to say that this was one of the most wonderful weeks together as extended family. The house right on the beach was a gift to us all. Being on the ocean is one of the most clear ways to see, hear, watch, experience, and smell the beauty of God. Our kids loved it so much. Ryan and I loved it so much. Being with cousins and grandparents and aunts/uncles is a special thing we have gotten to experience for so many spring breaks. We don't take advantage of it!!!!! Until next time, FLORIDA!!!!

Emma the dancing queen

This year especially, Emma loves dance so very much. She is always flipping and twirling and jumping and balancing. It's so awesome to see her grow and change and push herself as a dancer. Taking even just a few classes (jazz and ballet) have opened her eyes to kinds of dancing she had not experienced before. All of that to say, Aunt Sarah was able to capture some pretty neat things as the sun rose up over the ocean. I guess it pays off to be an early riser Miss Emma! :)
