Griffin has for sure had ups and downs this past year, as his life has changed so dramatically. There are some hard days and some awesome days. Today was a hard one. He was sad, mad, frustrated, angry, hurt, and mean...for lack of a better word. ;) So I put him in the van and we drove to Berkey, OH. We walked into an old general store, bought a reese's peanut butter cup, and walked the old streets of Berkey. We talked about how important it is to talk about our feelings in a healthy way. We hugged, we prayed, and we sat on the curb and watched the country folk live their day. It was a good day for Griff from that moment on...I think this will forever be our "special spot."
