Precious Fam...of all sorts!

I mean this picture just rocks. And who doesn't need a few minutes on the couch to all chill together at the lake? It's the best...and gosh these kids love each other!

A Columbus weekend with the Cates. It really was a highlight of our month. Jonah and Griff are such cute little buddies, and we are so thankful to have them in our lives as friends and sister/brother!

Tis The SEASON!!

The weather changing this spring has been so so good for all of our souls. THAT was a rough winter. Some of our favorite things the past few weeks have been: 

Cinco De Mayo--we love Mexican food. And we love sitting outside and eating! It's just so fun--even though the restaurant looks out over a parking lot. HA! We are easily pleased. We just like fresh air and salsa. :)

Parks again---and silly faces

Our first weekend at the lake! Ahhhh--the boats don't all need to be in--we just need warm air and water to look at. Thank you Jesus for playful moments.

Date with my sweet love. This kid has gone through this year watching his oldest sister go to school everyday and his next oldest sister work hard with mommy in Kindergarten---so these moments to just have lunch and ice cream, make BOTH of our days. Good times.

THE ZOO!!!! I think this is one of my favorite things to do with my kids. I love everything about the zoo--packing lunches, deciding which animals to investigate, cotton candy, and nature's neighborhood. This was a highlight of my month---and I don't think I did too bad of a job on their faces this time! :)

PLANTED

Uncle J/Jamie rocks. He spent an entire afternoon helping me build and plant my first garden. I have been wanting to do this for years and am so excited that he took the time and energy to work alongside me. I can't wait to see what happens as the season progresses. We planted a strawberry plant, two cherry tomato plants, two larger tomato plants, a zucchini plant, a cucumber, and 8 peppers. WOW---who knows?! Kids are excited to help make this theirs!
